YOUR WORK AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS SUPPORT ENGINEER JOB ROLE:
- Serve as the initial contact person for all customers, consultants, and partners of Callidus.
- Evaluate and prioritize all incoming case requests received through the web and phone.
- Offer phone, chat, and email support to customers, consultants, and partners regarding the utilization of Callidus products and associated components, including data transformation tools and report writing tools.
- Initiate the initial response for all incoming cases by assessing their severity, determining the next steps, and providing an estimated time of arrival for the subsequent communication.
- Conduct thorough research, analysis, and troubleshooting to effectively diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Deliver phone support to customers who contact for updates or escalations regarding their cases.
- Take proactive measures to communicate client status, concerns, and issues to the relevant management team.
- Foster and sustain productive relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Actively engage in the SalesCloud Community by participating in product forums and posting knowledge-based content.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of issues by consistently updating the support case tracking system.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance and Engineering teams to assist in the identification, reporting, and resolution of product defects.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR SAP SUPPORT ENGINEER JOB:
- Experience working with Relational Databases such as Oracle or HANA and building complex queries.
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Tomcat and/or Weblogic.
- Candidates should have knowledge of SSO/SAML integration.
- Having experience in Sales Cloud Commissions (Callidus) is preferred.
- Having knowledge of Business Objects 4.x and Crystal/Webi reports is preferred.
- Having knowledge of Informatica 10.x is preferred.
- Having familiarity with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Groovy, and Python is preferred.
- Possessing exceptional organizational abilities, strong customer relationship skills, and excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Demonstrating high reliability and professionalism.
- Possesses excellent listening and problem-solving skills.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS JOB AT SAP:
BE/B-Tech (or equivalent) in any discipline.
0-3 years of experience in a customer support environment, SaaS experience a plus.
