YOUR WORK AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS EMERSON GRADUATE ENGINEER TRAINEE:
- Conduct patch testing, including testing System Deviation Reports (SDR) for Ovation/Ovation Add-On patches.
- Install monthly patches and perform weekly AV installations on Ovation test beds, followed by basic functionality testing.
- Create and deploy Operating System Deployment (OSD) images.
- Maintain bulletin files for periodic activities.
- Configure DCS setup, including hardware components such as controllers and basic I/O modules.
- Participate in lab activities, such as maintenance, controller wall mounting, hardware maintenance, network rack planning, and tagging of hardware equipment.
- Acquire knowledge and expertise in DCS and other Emersion products like Ovation, OPH, OPC, ELC, APC, OSC, AV, TPNF.
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS EMERSON OFF CAMPUS DRIVE:
- Familiarity with the Testing life cycle.
- Possession of an ISTQB certificate at the Foundation level.
- Basic understanding of Virtualization.
- Understanding of PC architecture and its network.
- Proficiency in C/C++/C#/.NET.
- Fundamental knowledge of Process control systems.
- Participation in activities such as maintenance, hardware mounting, hardware maintenance, network rack planning, and tagging of hardware equipment.
- Creative application of knowledge in product validation and software testing.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS FRESHER JOB AT EMERSON:
BE/B.Tech/M.Tech (Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation/Power Engineering)
