YOUR WORK AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS EY MANUAL TESTER JOB:
- Analyze requirement documents and create and execute test cases
- Identify gaps in requirements and communicate with the team to resolve them
- Take ownership of data collection, cleansing, and validation for seamless testing
- Maintain and manage the test environment throughout the testing phase
- Analyze test results and report any impacts, errors, or bugs
- Manage the defect life cycle using DevOps/JIRA or similar tools
- Deliver test artifacts with accuracy, including test cases, traceability matrix, test summary, and bug reports
- Conduct peer reviews of test cases and facilitate knowledge sharing sessions
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS EY FUNCTIONAL TESTER JOB:
- Strong experience in manual functional testing (web/full stack/desktop)
- Ability to create effective test cases and capture bugs accurately
- Proficiency in the Software Testing Life Cycle
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and improve software testing skills
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps/JIRA or similar defect tracking tools
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project approaches
- Good to have experience in Jmeter/performance testing tools
- Experience in test automation using Selenium Java
- Good to have experience in functional testing for RPA bot
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS EY FRESHER JOB:
B.E/B.Tech/BCA/MCA
0-1 years of hands-on experience in testing web/desktop/RPA solutions
