COGNIZANT DEVOPS ENGINEER JOB DESCRIPTION
Build & Release Automation:
- Deploy continuous integration solutions for projects of small or medium size, adhering to the specified target architecture or operating model.
- Create documentation and scripts for packaging and deploying final builds, ensuring their readiness for production deployments.
- Deploy a release automation solution based on the specified target architecture or operating model.
- Engages in the initial phase of small to medium sized projects to develop a high-level design.
Infrastructure Automation:
- Create playbooks/cookbooks to facilitate configuration management.
- Deploy tools on cloud infrastructure.
- Configure intricate networking configurations and address any complex networking issues that may arise during infrastructure automation.
- Resolve intricate hypervisor issues or problems.
- Configure elaborate storage setups.
Log Management Solutions:
- Set up listeners.
- Create intricate search queries.
- Implementing a log management tool.
- Executing administrative tasks on the log management tool.
- Create customized scripts to facilitate log management.
