AMAZON DEVICE ASSOCIATE JOB DESCRIPTION
1) Positions Overview – Device associate
Performs testing on small, simple, or medium-sized components and/or features of applications, services, or devices in order to verify their correct functionality.
The individual conducts a review of newly created test and work instructions and shares their knowledge and best practices with their team. They also take a deep dive into the features and core functionalities of the app to gain a better understanding.
This individual consistently meets their daily productivity and quality targets, and is capable of executing repetitive tasks with the highest standards of quality in relation to their deliverables.
Records bugs and issues related to the implementation of testing procedures and/or quality measures.
Tracks resolution per service level agreements (SLAs).
Capable of acquiring knowledge on manual procedures for testing devices and applications, as well as becoming proficient in the use of relevant software and tools.
Good knowledge in language, vocabulary & grammar & contextual information
The capability to extensively explore applications, distinguish features across different versions, and recognize changes made within each version.
2) Key job responsibilities
Testing Mobile Application
The individual is able to carry out the execution of test cases on diverse mobile platforms.
Logs bugs/failures related to the execution of test instructions and/or quality mechanisms.
The capability to utilize software tools for validation, analysis, and data capture on a daily basis.
The candidate should have the ability to learn manual device and application test procedures and understand how to use relevant software and tools.
