Zomato is hiring a Software Engineer for their Back-End team. They require prior experience with consumer-facing websites, PHP development, MySQL databases, event-driven architectures, NoSQL databases, caching techniques, and RESTful paradigms. The candidate should also possess strong database design and query writing skills, a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms, and knowledge of service-oriented architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.

ZOMATO SOFTWARE ENGINEER JOB DESCRIPTION
The candidate should possess strong skills in designing databases and writing queries, with a focus on performance and efficiency.
Should have a strong grasp of engineering principles and a clear understanding of data structures and algorithms.
The candidate should possess knowledge of service-oriented architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.
Ensure that the solutions developed by the team meet high standards of quality.
Independently troubleshoot and resolve support issues and code problems.
A candidate with a proven history of creating inventive solutions in algorithm development.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Previous involvement with a substantial website or service for the general public.
The candidate should have experience in full-cycle PHP code development, including debugging and performance analysis.
The candidate should have experience in working with MySQL database and be able to analyze the efficiency of queries.
The candidate should have experience working with real-time web applications and event-driven architectures such as Node.js or jQuery.
Should have experience working with NoSQL and distributed databases such as Cassandra or Redis.
Building scalable and performance oriented services with caching techniques and systems like Memcache
Comfortable with search engines like Solr or ElasticSearch
Proficient in working with NGINX and Apache web servers.
Should possess a working knowledge of RESTful paradigms and be able to build APIs for front-end services and mobile applications.

Any Graduate
