YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS AN ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEER AT S&P GLOBAL:

• Develop automation and performance scripts following organizational standards to create reliable automated regression suites.
• Design and craft test plans and cases based on functional and design specifications, execute tests, and report results to teams.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely delivery of business functionality with required quality.
• Focus on building efficient testing solutions for Web, Services/APIs, Database, and mobile testing requirements.
• Actively participate in internal and cross-team meetings, project scoping, functional reviews, test specifications, and technical reviews within an Agile environment.
• Engage in functional, system, and regression testing activities.
• Capture quality assurance data and metrics to provide insights and conclusions.
• Estimate and perform risk analysis to ensure quality delivery.

KEY SKILL REQUIRED FOR THE SOFTWARE ENGINEER JOB AT S&P GLOBAL:

• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C#, Java, or similar, with an understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with databases, SQL/PL-SQL, query writing, and relational database management systems (RDBMS).
• Ability to develop Test Plans, Test Cases, engage in Exploratory Testing, and maintain Defect Reports.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to create clear, concise, and detailed documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting abilities.
• Willingness to work in a 24×5 environment with rotational shifts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR S&P GLOBAL JOB IN NOIDA & GURGAON:

Currently pursuing B.E./B.Tech
