YOUR WORK AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN S&P GLOBAL DATA ANALYST JOB ROLE:
The current opening is within S&P’s Estimates operations team, responsible for delivering high-quality Consensus Estimates, Actuals, and Guidance information. This data is crucial for clients to make informed decisions. The team focuses on research reports and company documents, gathering information on forecasted and actual numbers, and generating meaningful consensus from the collected data.
- Track and collect comprehensive information/data within a proprietary database, following S&P’s guidelines for the assigned vertical.
- Extract and validate the required information using various search tools, press releases, websites, trade documents, and regulatory filings.
- Contribute input and ideas for new collection methods and enhancements to improve the product.
- Review feedback related to Estimates, Actuals & Guidance content, identify errors, and help establish or refine procedures and processes to enhance accuracy.
- Meet predefined individual and team targets, ensuring high-quality and excellent outcomes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and reporting standards to maintain a current knowledge base.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR THIS S&P GLOBAL OFF CAMPUS DRIVE:
- Proficient in multitasking and collaborating within a team, while being adaptable to a flexible schedule to meet project deadlines.
- Possess knowledge of financial statements and a solid understanding of annual reports.
