Qualcomm Associate Engineer – APT Job Description
Role & Responsibilities as Associate Engineer:
- In order to troubleshoot issues gather, integrate, and interpret information from different sources.
- Communicates with project lead directly or via email to provide status and information about impending issues.
- Communicating with on project tech lead to verify the accuracy of basic testing systems.
- Assisting in verifying that the proposed solutions for a identified issues address the problem accurately.
- Writing functional tests for features to ensure functionality.
- Causing a failure within a determined area of code by implementing basic testing plan.
- As per direction given by tech leads, conduct basic lab or field tests.
- Identify where an issue has occurred by conducting log analyses.
- Detect and resolve bugs in testing code by using basic debugging approaches.
- Identify and fix bugs within own code.
- Collaborating with other project team members to accomplish project objectives.

Physical Requirements
- Frequently travelling and installing equipment (up to 2.5kg).
- Performing required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).
- Monitoring and utilizing test equipment & computer for more than 6 hours a day
- Continuous communication both in person and remotely with colleagues, vendors and customers.
Educational Qualification for Associate Engineer – APT at Qualcomm:
BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc – Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Programming Languages, Test Automation Framework, DevOps, System Testing Software, Hardware Software Integration.
