YOUR WORK AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE ORACLE SOFTWARE ENGINEER JOB ROLE:
In your role as a member of the software engineering division, you will utilize your foundational to intermediate understanding of software architecture to carry out various software development tasks. These tasks may involve developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems, in accordance with provided design specifications. Additionally, you will contribute to building enhancements within an existing software architecture and, on occasion, offer suggestions for improvements to the architecture itself.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR THIS Oracle OFF CAMPUS DRIVE:
- Proven proficiency in writing high-quality code using object-oriented languages such as Java, GoLang, C#, or similar.
- Familiarity with various stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Systematic problem-solving approach and the ability to tackle challenges effectively.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members.
- Demonstrated sense of ownership and drive to take responsibility for assigned tasks.
Preferred Skills:
- Practical expertise in building services on a public cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle.
- Previous experience working with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IAC) languages, with a preference for Terraform.
- Strong knowledge of databases, encompassing both SQL and NoSQL technologies.
- Solid understanding of computer networking principles, including OSI layers, HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, routers, gateways, subnets, etc.
- Familiarity with Linux internals and the ability to troubleshoot Linux/Unix systems.
- Understanding of host virtualization technologies, such as KVM, Containers, and Docker.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS ORACLE JOB:
BE/B.Tech/BS/MS/BCA/MCA degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field.
