MICRON TECHNOLOGY TEST SOLUTIONS ENGINEER JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Test Solutions Engineer at Micron Technology, based in Hyderabad, India, you will be an integral part of a team at the forefront of revolutionizing memory and storage solutions. In your role as Test Solutions Engineer, you will be entrusted with the critical responsibility of designing new test programs for the first silicon validation of Micron’s pioneering DRAM products.
RESPONSIBILITIES IN TEST ENGINEER JOB AT MICRON TECHNOLOGY INDIA:
- Develop new test programs for initial silicon validation, providing crucial feedback for device quality and performance enhancement.
- Regularly update and refine test programs for Micron DRAM products, focusing on customer specifications, performance characterization, and analysis of customer returns.
- Implement more efficient testing methods to reduce test times and manufacturing costs.
- Write software scripts to streamline the test process.
- Improve test coverage to ensure high outgoing quality and customer satisfaction.
- Work with product and equipment engineering teams to boost overall product yield and customize test solutions for better Return on Investment.
- Partner with test capacity and manufacturing teams to achieve production goals.
- Oversee process and engineering metrics for stable and effective test operations.
KEY SKILL REQUIRED FOR THE MICRON CAREER 2024:
- Strong skills in C/C++, with additional knowledge being a plus.
- Excellent ability to solve complex technical issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A good understanding of semiconductor device physics is advantageous.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR TEST ENGINEER JOB FOR FRESHERS AT MICRON INDIA:
BE, B.Tech, M.E., M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
