KOCH GRADUATE ENGINEER TRAINEE JOB DESCRIPTION
- Comprehending customer drawings and specifications.
- Generating 3D models based on conceptual designs.
- Producing Molex drawings and releasing them into the system.
- Generating solid models and drawings based on conceptual designs.
- Releasing and updating drawings and specifications in the Work Manager system.
- Preparing the Bill of Material for costing purposes and providing assistance in updating it in the SAP system.
- Actively engaging in the development of product concepts and proposals.
- Initiating engineering changes through ECR/ECN and PCN processes, and overseeing the progress until the changes are successfully released in the system.
- Collaborating with other design centers to obtain clarifications regarding design, materials, and other aspects for products manufactured but not controlled by Molex India, particularly cable harnesses.
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS JOB AT KOCH:
- Possessing proficiency in NX, Pro E (OSDD and OSM), AutoCAD, and E-EC, demonstrating competent skills in these software applications.
- Having a solid understanding of product design and development processes.
- Having intermediate-level technical communication skills, enabling effective communication on technical topics.
- Possessing a moderate level of product knowledge, providing a good understanding of the products being worked on.
- Having knowledge of the wiring harness manufacturing process will be an additional advantage.
- The candidate should be adaptable to changing project requirements and willing to learn new technologies and skills.
