YOUR WORK AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN SIMULATION ENGINEER JOB:

• Construct the models of the assigned system, sub-system, or electrical system within the agreed-upon budget and schedule.
• Prepare Simulator Design Specification (SDS) as per the system/Sub-system assigned
• Apply the necessary markings and annotations to the Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) in accordance with the defined project scope.
• Offer support for both Pre-Factory Acceptance Test (Pre-FAT) and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) processes, whether held in India or overseas, to ensure the satisfaction of customer requirements within the project’s defined scope.
• Prepare project binders for Pre-MSAT & Post-MSAT internal audits.
• Provide support in integrating and coordinating all system and sub-system components for testing purposes, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility.
• Collaborate closely with the global modeling team and provide support as needed, fostering a collaborative environment to ensure the success of the project.
• Perform work within established budgetary and schedule requirements.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR EMERSON SIMULATION ENGINEER JOB:

• Proficiency or direct involvement in the operation and control of thermal power plants, specifically those utilizing coal/gas boilers and/or combined cycle technology.
• Comprehension of the thermodynamics principles and fundamentals related to the key subsystems of power plants, as well as their interdependencies and interactions.
• Ability to comprehend and utilize performance calculation packages written in “C” or “C++” from previous projects, applying them effectively to the current project.
• Experience in developing base-level or simplified tie-back models to construct process models for control validation purposes prior to the installation of applications at the site.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing changes to control system configurations, ensuring effective and efficient operation of the control systems.
• Readiness and willingness to travel as necessary for job requirements and project needs.
• Exceptional proficiency in English communication, encompassing strong verbal and written skills.

B.E./B.Tech, M.Tech (Mechanical/Power Engineering/Electrical Engineering)
