WALMART BUSINESS SUPPORT ANALYST JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities of a Business Support Analyst at Walmart:
- Handle day-to-day operations of the procurement team within the Procure to Pay area.
- Create, modify, and close Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders in SAP MM/SAP Ariba.
- Manage incoming requests through internal tools like ServiceNow, mailbox, IP2P, and other sources.
- Monitor team inboxes for requests and respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or invoice updates.
- Take ownership of requests and provide timely follow-up and support throughout the process.
- Identify automation/improvement opportunities and work on innovating processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to reduce the Turn Around Time of the overall cycle time of a procurement request.
- Ensure tasks/activities are completed as per the TAT to meet SLAs for the cluster/region.
- Update SOPs with change management on a quarterly basis.
KEY SKILL REQUIRED FOR THE WALMART HIRING 2023:
- Bachelor’s/MBA Degree in any discipline.
- 0-2 years of work experience in Procure to Pay operations.
- Ideal if have Exposure to SAP ECC, SAP Ariba, and India GST structure.
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Effective communication and adept at managing relationships with stakeholders.
- Collaborative team player with a positive and proactive approach.
- Customer-centric mindset and the ability to adapt to changes seamlessly.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR SUPPORT ANALYST JOB AT WALMART:
Bachelor’s/MBA degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Computer Science, or related field
OR
2 years’ experience in operations, retail, project management, or a related area.
