YOUR WORK AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS SOFTWARE ENGINEER INTERNSHIP AT SOCIETE GENERALE:
- Facilitate access to data and set up quantitative processing on data from multiple sources.
- Aggregate and analyze data to provide a clear and coherent vision of the data.
- Use structured methods for data processing and provide analytical support for complex exploration and analysis.
- Identify and acquire data sources, perform data profiling, and prepare data for analysis.
- Collaborate with operational partners in the Business Unit, Risk Department, and IT Departments.
- Dialogue with stakeholders to understand their requirements and propose solutions aligned with project goals.
- Utilize advanced systems and technologies, such as DataLake environment and integrated platforms.
- Formalize procedures, document processes, and create presentations.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR SOCIETE GENERALE SUMMER INTERNSHIP:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SAS, and SQL.
- Motivation for data processing and technical engineering.
- Interest in banking and financial risk issues.
