MICRON EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Engineering members of SIG team at Micron, you will be continuously challenged to develop innovative production test solutions customized to Micron’s needs. Tasked with enabling strategic cost, capability, and time-to-market advantages for Micron Technology Inc.
Responsibilities in Software Engineer Jobs for Freshers at Micron:
- Engage in the development of embedded and interface software, contribute to schematic design, assess PCB layouts, prototype circuits, troubleshoot analog and digital hardware.
- Analyze, debug, and resolve issues spanning various layers of software and PCB hardware.
- Program predominantly in C, C++, and Python on Linux platforms for diverse microcontrollers and computing modules, functioning as the interface to custom hardware.
- Work closely with software, electrical, mechanical, and control engineers located globally, contributing to the design and advancement of next-generation memory testers.
- Provide support for existing equipment and contribute to the development and debugging of software in C/C++ for embedded environments.
- Develop and debug software in C++ and Python for the hardware interface environment.
- Apply lab equipment for design initiation, characterization, and testing purposes.
KEY SKILL REQUIRED FOR THE MICRON CAREERS 2024:
- Proficient in English.
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
- Familiarity with Python.
- Sound understanding of fundamental electrical engineering principles.
- Knowledgeable in reading and understanding schematics.
- Experienced with various lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, DMMs, and SMUs.
- Possess a foundational understanding of Computer Science.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills in written and spoken form, including the creation of technical documents.
