YOUR WORK AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN IBM DATA ENGINEER JOB:
- Mentor and coach scrum teams in Agile Scrum principles, task meetings, and retrospectives.
- Use relative estimation and story-based development techniques.
- Lead iteration/sprint planning meetings and resolve conflicts within the team.
- Apply Business Analysis planning and monitoring, Enterprise Analysis, Requirement management, and communication skills.
- Provide objective guidance without personal or political bias.
- Implement agile techniques in different cultural and environmental settings.
- Focus on team improvement and create a safe environment for healthy conflict and collaboration.
- Implement winning strategies based on ground conditions.
- Apply Agile processes at the user story level as per the Definition of Done (DoD).
- Successfully manage agile projects of varying size and complexity.
- Identify project risks and raise them proactively.
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS IBM OFF CAMPUS DRIVE JOB:
- Hadoop, Hive, Spark / PySpark, SQL, Oozie
- Data Modeling in Hive
- Programming Languages: Java / Python / Scala
- Micro / macro designing experience
- Familiarity with Unix Commands and basic work experience in Unix Shell Scripting
- Data Modeling SQL Scripting (Teradata), BDW Data modeling
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong client-facing skills
