YOUR WORK AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS R&D MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER AT HITACHI ENERGY:
- Demonstrate proficiency in advanced high-end CAD software, Creo.
- Utilize CAD automation and parametric modeling techniques, providing an advantage.
- Work with Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool Windchill.
- Apply knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), Tolerance Stack-Up Analysis, and Design for Assembly and Manufacturing.
- Prepare manufacturing and assembly drawings, including Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Suppliers, and Engineering teams located globally.
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR HITACHI ENERGY R&D ENGINEER JOB ROLE:
- Proficiency in advanced CAD software, Creo, is essential.
- Experience in CAD automation and parametric modeling is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools, particularly Windchill.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and Tolerance Stack-Up Analysis.
