DISCOVERY SOFTWARE ENGINEER JOB DESCRIPTION

Build cutting-edge global streaming products and the underlying platform
Cultivate expertise in the features and services you contribute to, collaborating with a skilled team of engineers
Assume complete ownership of product features, ensuring technical and operational excellence
Play a role in the product and services development cycle, designing and testing hypotheses through data collection and analysis

SKILLS REQUIRED FOR DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER JOB:

We seek individuals who demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills, a strong drive for learning, and the ability to collaborate and exchange ideas effectively as part of a team.
Proficiency in coding with a general-purpose programming language and prior experience as a developer in a consumer-focused company are desirable.
Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis, is essential.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary.
Experience in at least one of the following languages (Java, C/C++, Python, GoLang, Swift, or JavaScript) is preferred.
