YOUR WORK AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS UNITED AIRLINES DATA ENGINEER:
- Work closely with a team of business analysts, data scientists, and software developers to design and implement data solutions.
- Gather and organize data from various sources to build data systems and pipelines using Big Data and cloud technologies.
- Combine raw information from different sources, including on-prem/cloud databases, files, and API-based data providers.
- Evaluate business requirements and objectives for use case implementation.
- Enhance data quality and reliability to create a standardized data layer on the data lake.
- Conduct data analysis and effectively communicate results to business analysts.
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS UNITED AIRLINES OFF CAMPUS DRIVE JOB:
- 0-1 year of experience in data engineering (entry-level position).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of Python, SQL, and Spark is preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS is a plus.
