Experience: 0-3 Years

Location: Gurgaon, Haryana, India

Salary: INR 3-9 LPA (Expected)

YOUR WORK AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS CIENA GLOBAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT JOB:

• Provide pre & post-sales technical support for CIENA products.
• Automate data collection and issue resolution using JavaScript and Python.
• Understand fiber optic transport and switching protocols, data communications protocols, and Linux based systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on field issues and communicate with Design and Supply Chain.
• Utilize debug tools and lab research for technical problem-solving.
• Lead customer support and perform on-site or remote engineering functions.
• Travel to customer sites and Ciena locations globally.

SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS CIENA FRESHER JOB:

• Experience automating tasks using JavaScript and Python.
• Understanding of fiber optic transport and switching equipment.
• Basic expertise in data communications protocols including Ethernet and IP networks.
• Knowledge of Linux based systems and network management systems is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good foundation knowledge of OTN, SONET/SDH/DWDM, and Carrier Ethernet protocols.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong relationship building and customer focus.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THIS CIENA OFF CAMPUS DRIVE:

BE/B.Tech/BCA
