YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEER JOB AT BOEING
- Develop Cloud-based Software Applications, focusing on UI and Java/Spring backend.
- Translate Tier 3 System requirements into Tier 4 Software requirements for system features.
- Create automated test scenarios to validate Tier 4 Software requirements.
- Generate High-level Design based on system and software Architecture, and proceed to detailed designs.
- Implement UI based on detailed designs and conduct comprehensive unit testing.
- Craft Software integration test scripts to ensure the accurate implementation of Tier 4 requirements.
- Establish traceability from Tier 3 requirements to software code and tests.
- Perform peer reviews covering System and Software Requirements, Design, Code, and Tests.
- Collaborate effectively within an Agile team, participating in design and code reviews, and ensuring software quality attributes.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE BOEING JAVA DEVELOPER JOB:
- Proficiency in Angular, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Foundation, or Bootstrap.
- Strong grasp of Java (Core and Advanced), SOA, Spring/SpringBoot, and Hibernate.
- Familiarity with Restful Web services and Microservices.
- Proficiency with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Exposure to Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or PCF.
- Understanding of software build, integration, and debugging in simulated and integration environments.
- Possesses systems thinking and analytical skills to comprehend system components and inter-relationships, as well as the ability to anticipate future events.
