BCG JUNIOR ANALYST JOB DESCRIPTION
- Collaborate with BCG case teams and topic leaders, supporting them in various stages of the market research/survey management lifecycle.
- Understand business objectives and the context of associated market research, demonstrating a business-oriented mindset.
- Engage in quality review of online surveys, ensuring data accuracy, and managing data validation and cleaning.
- Apply statistical theoretical concepts, utilize survey data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, Sawtooth), and interpret data effectively.
- Work with virtual, multicultural global teams, dealing with cross-time zone engagement and fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Network, build relationships, and contribute to informal business development.
KEY SKILL REQUIRED FOR THE BCG CAREER:
- Bachelor’s degree with high academic achievement in analytics, data science, or mathematics.
- 0-1 years of relevant experience in market research and data analytics.
- Strong analytical capabilities with hands-on experience in Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of additional tools such as SPSS, R, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, SAS, Market Sight, VBA, SQL is advantageous.
- Ability to work with multiple, geographically distributed teams in a fast-paced environment, multitasking, and operating effectively in a matrix organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills, credibility, and effective written & verbal communication in English.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR JUNIOR ANALYST JOB AT BCG:
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics/Applied Statistics, Operational Research, Economics, or Mathematics preferred.
