YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS SOFTWARE ENGINEER JOB AT APPLE:
- Contribute to the delivery of cloud infrastructure automation to facilitate cloud adoption.
- Develop services on the cloud and/or create standard Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules. Work on complex distributed systems deployed across multiple cloud environments, such as AWS, GCP, and Ali.
- Take projects from initial concept to production, involving design, coding, writing unit tests, performing integration tests, deployment to production, and ongoing support in production environments.
- Streamline, automate, and consolidate complex infrastructure.
- Thrive in a dynamic Agile development environment, remaining adaptable to changing requirements.
- Engage with customers and provide support to resolve production issues.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED AS A CLOUD NETWORK ENGINEER AT APPLE:
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Curiosity and a passion for learning.
- Effective communication skills, both in speech and writing, with active listening abilities.
- Coursework or relevant experience in data structures, algorithms, and debugging. Bonus points for completing courses in Distributed Systems, Web Development, Network, or Application Security.
- Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: C, C++, Go, or Rust.
