ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN SOFTWARE ENGINEERING INTERNSHIP AT NVIDIA:
- Assisting in the design and development of software solutions within various domains, including Chip Resource Manager, Graphics, Video, 2D and 3D graphics utilizing OpenGL and DirectX, ISP, and driver stacks for Windows and Linux OS.
- Collaborating on cutting-edge graphics, multimedia, and operating system software projects.
- Understanding of CPU and memory architecture, buses, and interconnects in hardware operation.
- Familiarity with operating system fundamentals, including multi-processing, scheduling, memory management, privilege modes, file systems, and device drivers.
- Proficiency in algorithms and data structures.
- Knowledge of parallel computing principles.
- Strong programming skills in C and/or C++.
- Preferred knowledge of Python and PERL.
KEY SKILL REQUIRED FOR SUMMER INTERNSHIP AT NVIDIA:
- Profound comprehension of programming languages and processor architecture.
- Sound knowledge of Operating System Fundamentals.
- Knowledge of the Linux kernel is advantageous.
- Solid C/C++ programming skills.
- Scripting knowledge (Perl or Python) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Object-oriented programming, especially in C/C++ or Java.
- Aptitude for innovative and optimal design solutions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR NVIDIA JOB IN PUNE:
B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA/M.Tech in Computer Science or Electronics and Communication (E&C).
