YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS A SOFTWARE INTERN AT NVIDIA:
- Comprehend, modify, and enhance a proprietary GPU compiler backend written in C++ by NVIDIA.
- Contribute to compiler optimizations to develop a top-notch, robust, and maintainable compiler and its associated tools.
- Address intricate issues in register allocation, instruction scheduling, synchronization, and loop optimizations.
- Collaborate with global teams in compiler development, hardware, and applications to supervise enhancements and troubleshoot problems.
- Participate in a team central to the advancement of deep-learning compiler technology, encompassing architecture design and support using functional languages.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE LLVM COMPILER JOB AT NVIDIA:
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
- Strong understanding of compiler concepts and practices.
- Knowledge of CUDA, DirectX, OpenGL/Vulkan application development (desirable).
