YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS A INTERNSHIP TRAINEE AT MOTOROLA:

As an Internship Trainee, you will be an integral part of the Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team. Your responsibilities include:

• Contributing to the design and implementation of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines in multiple public cloud regions.
• Participating in the development and operation of common platform services that can be utilized by our SaaS solutions.
• Ensuring the reliability and security of services and their respective environments.
• Monitoring and providing support for platform and infrastructure services, including metrics collection and reporting.
• Familiarity with services and cloud computing (experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services is advantageous).
• Exhibit knowledge of modern development operations tools, including trace-based application performance monitoring and Docker containers.
• Be experienced in the development of custom network services (e.g., HTTP, WebSockets).

KEY SKILL REQUIRED FOR THE SUMMER INTERNSHIP AT MOTOROLA:

• API design and development.
• Demonstrate proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Shell, PowerShell, Python).
• Competency in working with databases.
• Familiarity with Linux Administration and Shell Scripting.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with Azure Pipelines (YML).
• Understanding of CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency in using Git.
• Have prior on-call experience for services developed by the team.
• Showcase demonstrated experience in developing and deploying services on Microsoft Azure.
