As a Research Intern in Processor Architecture Research (PAR) Lab at Intel Labs’, you’ll engage in cutting-edge processor architecture research focusing on three critical domains. Extreme CPU microarchitectures, addressing bottlenecks and security. Accelerator-based subsystems for Generative AI integration. Co-design strategies for compute/memory efficiency in datacenter and cloud services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of groundbreaking innovations shaping the future of computing technology.

Responsibilities in Research Internship at Intel India:

• Engage in groundbreaking research on CPU microarchitectures, focusing on areas like front-end bottleneck mitigation and advanced cache/memory hierarchies.
• Work on accelerator-based subsystems for Generative AI applications, integrating these with CPUs/GPUs and novel memory types.
• Participate in the co-design of architecture and system software to enhance compute/memory efficiencies, particularly for datacenter and cloud services.
• Contribute to the development of hardware-based security solutions, ensuring robust protection against evolving cyber threats.
• Investigate and characterize emerging AI and cloud workloads, aiming to drive workload-driven architecture advancements.
