MORGAN STANLEY SUMMER ANALYST – TECHNOLOGY JOB DESCRIPTION:
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES IN TECHNOLOGY SUMMER ANALYST JOB AT MORGAN STANLEY:
Development Teams:
- Design, develop, and maintain applications for the Firm’s business units.
- Activities include gathering client requirements, making system design decisions, evaluating, integrating, and developing necessary software, and testing and deploying applications to production.
Infrastructure Teams:
- Develop cutting-edge systems to run the business, providing tools, applications, and platforms for networks, computing hardware, operating systems, and databases.
- Projects include engineering the Firm’s websites, managing the Windows plant, and developing a client reporting delivery system.
Training Program:
A 2-month program starting in May, with an induction day providing an overview of the Firm and guidance on transitioning from campus to a corporate environment. Summer Internship Analysts work on live projects, experience guest lectures, and attend networking, team-building, social, and charitable events.

KEY SKILL REQUIRED FOR MORGAN STANLEY TECHNOLOGY ANALYST INTERNSHIP 2023:
- Bachelors or Masters student in the penultimate year of study.
- Preferred majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical fields.
- Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C++, or C#) and database knowledge.
- Operating system knowledge (Windows and Unix).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, experience in object-oriented development, good comprehension of data structures, algorithms, and complexity theory, strong database and scripting skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
- Fluent in English.
