Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), a Premier Public Sector Enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy, invites online applications for the engagement of Apprentices at its Narora Atomic Power Station (NAPS), Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. NPCIL Recruitment is for total 70 vacancies and is open to ITI, Diploma, and Graduate (BE, BTech) holders.

NPCIL Recruitment 2025 Overview:

Narora Atomic Power Station Apprentice Details:

• Apprenticeship Types:
  • Trade Apprentices (ITI-based) – 50 Posts
  • Diploma Apprentices – 10 Posts
  • Graduate (BE, BTech) Apprentices – 10 Posts
• Duration of Apprenticeship: 1 Year (Maximum)
• Place of Training: Narora Atomic Power Station, Narora, Uttar Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for NAPS Apprenticeship:

• Trade Apprentice: ITI Pass Certificate in the respective trade (Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic).
• Diploma Apprentice: Diploma in Engineering/Technology in the respective discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics) from a recognized institution.
• Graduate Apprentice: Graduate Degree in Engineering/Technology (BE, BTech) in the respective discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) from a statutory university.

Freshers who have passed in last 5 years i.e. from the 2020 and 2025 batches are eligible to apply.

Age Criteria (as on 02.09.2025):

• Trade Apprentice: Min 18 years, Max 24 years.
• Diploma Apprentice: Min 18 years, Max 25 years.
• Graduate Apprentice: Min 18 years, Max 26 years.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC (NCL): 3 years. For PwBD: General & EWS: 10 years, SC/ST: 15 years, OBC (NCL): 13 years.
• Reservation: Reservations for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS, and PwBD categories are applicable as per the vacancy distribution provided.

NPCIL Vacancy Details:

Selection Process for NPCIL Government Apprenticeship:

• Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the respective qualifying examination (ITI/Diploma/BTech).
• In case of a tie in marks, the candidate born earlier will be considered first.

Important Dates for NPCIL Apprenticeship:

Stipend for Apprentice Trainee at Narora Power Plant

It’s a paid Apprenticeship with an estimated Trainee Apprentice Stipend at NPCIL per month is as follows

• Trade Apprentice: ₹7,700 (1-yr ITI) / ₹8,050 (2-yr ITI). The stipend for ITI Trade Apprentices depends on the duration of the ITI course completed (1 year or 2 years).
• Diploma Apprentice: ₹8,000 Per Month
• Graduate Apprentice Trainee: ₹9,000 Per Month

Application Fee:

There is no application fee to apply for Engineering Apprenticeship at NPCIL.
