- Trade Apprentice: Matriculation with full-time 2-year ITI course in relevant trade (Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist) from NCVT/SCVT.
- Technician/ Diploma Apprentice: 3-year full-time Diploma in relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics).
- Graduate Apprenticeship: Full-time Graduate degree in any discipline (BBA/BA/B.Com/B.Sc).

Stipend in IOCL Apprenticeship Job
- Stipend: The monthly stipend will be paid as prescribed under the Apprentices Act.
- Stipend Distribution:
- Trade Apprentice: Receives full stipend directly from IOCL.
