CGI Software Engineer Job Description:
As an Associate Software Engineer at CGI, you will support key subsurface and wells applications, ensuring operational excellence through problem resolution and collaboration. You’ll assist in application troubleshooting, perform root cause analysis, and work with both internal and external teams to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities in SDE Job at CGI:
- Provide application support for subsurface and wells systems such as Petrel, Techlog, OFM, and Eclipse.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and troubleshoot applications.
- Conduct root cause analysis on reported issues and propose timely solutions.
- Ensure adherence to customer-specific SLAs and operational level agreements (OLAs).
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding project statuses and issues.
- Be flexible and open to rotational shifts as part of the operational support team.
Key Software Engineer Skills Required for CGI Pune Job:
- Basic knowledge of the oil and gas sector.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
